Museum Passes
The following are museum passes that are available for check-out by library cardholders, at the adult (or children's) circulation desk. Passes are for free admission for two people, unless otherwise noted. There will be a $5.00 fine for passes returned late. Passes are due back to the library with-in 24 hours of check-out, unless otherwise noted. We recommend that patrons reserve passes to ensure that they are here when needed. To reserve adult museum passes call 516-6050, and to reserve children's museum passes call 516-6052.
(Children's Room museum passes are designated with an **.)**Boston Museum of Science: These passes provide discounted admission for 4 people. There is a $7 charge per person at the museum.
Canterbury Shaker Village: These passes provide discounted admission for 2 people per pass. There is a $5 charge per adult and $2.50 per child (ages 6-17) at the museum.
Castle in the Clouds: These passes provide free admission for 2 adults and 2 children.
**Children's Museum of NH: Discount pass which provides access for up to 4 people at half price admission.
Currier Museum of Art: These passes provide patrons with free admission to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH.
Historic New England: Free access to twenty-four Historic House Museums in the New England area.
Isabella Stuart Gardner: Discount pass which allows access for up to 4 people for $5 each.
**McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center: These passes provide free access to the exhibit area for 4 people.
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: These passes provide patrons with discounted general admission, the passes do not include special exhibits.
Museum of New Hampshire History: This museum offers exciting exhibitions on the state's rich heritage and traditions as well as a variety of programs for children and adults throughout the year.
**New England Aquarium: These passes provide discounted admission for 4 people. There is a $10 charge per person at the museum. The passes are not valid in July and August.
**NH Farm Museum: Free admission for 2 adults and children. The history of farming in New Hampshire is explored at an historic working farm in Milton, NH.
Peabody Essex Museum: This museum is dedicated to keeping visitors connected to events, trends, and ideas relating to art and culture. This pass allows reduced admission for 2 people.
Portland Museum of Art: These passes allow free admission for 2 adults and 6 children.
**Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point State Park: Free admission for 2 adults and children. This Rye museum explores 7 distinct coastal habitats focusing on children's understanding of the environment.
**Strawbery Banke Museum: Free admission for 2 adults and children. (Closed November-April--except for special events). The Museum is a beautifully restored 10 acre historic Portsmouth neighborhood with over 40 historically significant buildings.
