The Dover Rotary Club has generously donated "Ursa Major", the dancing bear painted by New Hampshire children's author and illustrator, Tomie de Paola, to the Dover Public Library's Children's Room. 

Originally part of the Rotary sponsored Dover Bear Walk and auction, the beloved bear will now be a permanent addition to the Children's Room.

In honor of his return, we held a contest  for children, "Name that Bear",  to give him a child-friendly nickname.

His nickname is:

     "Bluebeary"!
